About Music Of The Night

Presented by 29 Commando Regiment Royal Artillery in its home the Royal Citadel, Plymouth, Music of the Night returned for its ninth production in July 2008.

Music, song, dance, lasers, fireworks and gunfire combined the superb musicians of the Bands of the Royal Artillery and Her Majesty's Royal Marines and a cast of hundreds of talented local performers to produce a fantastic outdoor show, staged to raise money for local and military charities.

Since Music of the Night started in 1992, nearly £500,000 has been raised for charity. In 2006, the event raised over £80,000 and donated to a variety of charities including BLESMA, KING GEORGE'S FUND FOR SAILORS, SSAFA and The Army Benevolent Fund.
